Your Best Won't Do was recorded and mixed by Goat down in New Orleans at House of a 1000hz. It features Steve Garofano on live drums and was recorded mostly live with just a few overdubs. It includes such classic Wolff covers as Blue Monday, When Doves Cry, Sweet Dreams, We're Not Gonna Take It, Girl U Want, Eye of the Tiger, She Drives me Crazy, and Angel Station. Your Best Won't Do also includes a couple brand new covers which are LCD soundsystem's Daft Punk is playing in my house and Led Zeppelin's Trampled Under Foot. Wolff and Garofano are really happy with how this album came out so please buy it so they can afford to get started on the next album of originals which hopefully will be on the way soon...

Password for Pianos Shows
It has come to Wolff's attention that at times it is difficult to get in to the late Friday night shows at Pianos due to there being a line to get in (whose cause is either overcrowding in the bar or because they're not letting guys in). In the future if this occurs just tell one of the two Greek bouncers (recognizable because they may be as wide as they are tall resembling more of a square then a rectangle) whose names are Femi and Jimmy (they look like brothers but are not. Jimmy is distinguishable because he'll probably have the cigar in his mouth) that you are there to see Wolff. They have promised to allow you to either cut the line or go in the side door. If you want them to be especially nice to you just say something positive about Greece...

New Videos are up
There are some new videos shot at Pianos up on the multimedia page. Steve Garofano is playing drums and there are nature videos in the background. Hopefully we'll be cranking out some more of these live videos of the plethora of new tunes we've got in the not too distant future. Things happen slow sometimes in tuba land...

The Brass Ceiling
The Album features Steve Garofano on drums who is the newest member of Wolff. Yes, for those of you keeping count that now makes Wolff a duo of drums and tuba. Some things never change. The Brass Ceiling was recorded and mixed by Paul Mahajan and Mark Ephraim in Brooklyn, New York and Wolff would like to give a shout out to them for sacrificing both their time and money to the cause...

Residency
Wolff plays late at night every Friday at Piano's (unless he is out of town touring). The sets are back in the downstairs room with the good soundsystem and feature videos. Showtimes vary but are usually from approximately 1am to 4am. So you can no longer complain that there isn't any good late night live music in New York City...
